My trip to Flagstaff Oct, 2019
In October 2019, I took a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona with my friends. We planned to go hiking in the mountains and were excited to experience the natural beauty of the area. Despite the cold weather, we were all eager to see what Flagstaff had to offer. Our mission were to see permafrost for the first time, we all come from a tropical country – Vietnam, so none of us has seen natural snow before. It was surprised me at first that having snow in the deserted State like Arizona.
Our hike started at 6:30 AM, and we were all determined to reach the peak of the mountain. The hike started off easy, but as we climbed higher, the path became more challenging. We pushed ourselves, wanting to see the snow and experience the beauty of Flagstaff. Half day passed, and we had only made it halfway to the peak. Despite our fatigue, we were all determined to keep going. As we hiked, we marveled at the breathtaking landscape that surrounded us. The autumn forest was a stunning mix of oranges and yellows, and the mountains rose high above us, challenging us to keep climbing. Although we didn’t make it to the peak of the mountain and see the permafrost, the journey was worth it. We were all in love with the natural beauty of Flagstaff, and grateful for the opportunity to experience it together.
After our hike in the mountains, we returned to Flagstaff town to explore and find a place to have dinner. The town was charming, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel welcome. We found a restaurant and settled in for a warm meal, grateful for the chance to rest and relax after our long hike. As we walked around the town.

Alright! To wrap it up, the trip was an unforgettable experience. Although we didn’t reach our goal of seeing the permafrost at the top of the mountain, the hike was still an adventure that we will never forget. The natural beauty of Flagstaff had captured our hearts, and we all knew that we would return one day to continue exploring this amazing place together.
