Pros & Cons of working under high pressure for young workforce

Lợi & hại của việc làm việc dưới áp lực cao đối với lực lượng lao động trẻ

Have you ever worked under multitasks?

I believe that we all experience those days in our working life, so which one is beneficial for us-the young generation? in the scope of this article I would like to share my point of view as a senior engineer. At the same time, I highly encourage you – my readers to raise up your perspective so we all can learn together.

On the one hand, youth, the precious time for us to explore, learn and improve ourselves on both personal and professional skills. Especially, the first 5 years of your working life, it is the time that defines your choice of life, the career path that you want to follow. Therefore, we need time to learn practical knowledge which we haven’t accumulated in the university time, so working under high pressure is in fact, a great opportunity for us to hone our tools. In my case, 2020 is a tough year, I have been running back and forth in multiple projects. In fact, I learned a lot, on both of the two crucial aspects interpersonal and technical proficiency.

On the other hand, too much of tasks also has a dark side. As stated, this is the time of connecting academic knowledge to practical one. Think about this, when you spend most of your time on completing assignments, you don’t have time to dive in the fundamental mechanism of the problem. As mentioned, at the beginning of your career, you need time to explore the field that you are truly fond of. So, having time to connect is crucial for your professional path.

There is no such thing is perfect, every scenario all has pros and cons, the idea is that we need to learn how to balance it. If you think you have too much of tasks and don’t have enough time to develop yourself, ask your superior for support and the other way around.
