As an English teacher, I believe that persistence is the most important factor of any learners in learning the language. In other words, it is a journey that requires time, effort, and patience. Surely you can achieve your goals and become confident English speakers.
One of the keys to success in learning English is to set realistic and achievable goals. This helps you track your progress and feel a sense of accomplishment as you meet the targets. I always encourage my students to set goals that they can realistically reach within a specific time frame, and to regularly review their progress to keep themselves motivated.

Another crucial aspect of persistence is practice. Regular exposure to the language through speaking, reading, writing, and listening is essential for developing skills and retaining what has been learned. I emphasize the importance of finding opportunities to practice English, such as speaking with native speakers, watching English-language movies or TV shows, or reading English books and articles. And if you are with me for a while, I think you already knew your topic, right? Find the one that you like and fit with your level.
One effective practice method I have created use in my classroom is the 5 Step Method from Vtenglish. This method focuses on listening and speaking as well. I believe that this method can help my students to become more confident and fluent in listening English, and it has proven to be successful for many of them (the persistent ones).
