My parents puppies

After almost a half of year living far away from my home, I just took a few days off and went back to my hometown to visit my parents. They are enjoying their life in DakNong, a highland province known for its coffee, pepper, sugar cane and almost every type of tropical fruits.

In recent years I come home more often, three to four times a year, especially since my little sister moved to DaNang city to pursue her education. 2019 is a busy working year for myself, you know what? I’ve had to spend 5 months in total for my business trips. So this “home time” is also in a hurry because really soon after this I’m going to have another 2 months trip.

Ok, let’s get rid of working stuff, today I want to show you our puppies or more exactly to say our parents puppies. My mom said “Since you guys don’t come home often, so they are like our children now”. Dogs are brilliant, they know how to make their friends feel happy, they enjoy every moment of their life.

When they saw me for the first time, they all barked and sniffed my legs for a few seconds. Then, when I waved my hand and tried to pet one of those dogs, he seemed to really enjoy the petting and wagged his tail. At that moment, they accepted their new friend. However, my parents did not like this because in Vietnam, especially in the countryside, dogs are not only pets but also guardians for the house. But these guys are too friendly and make friends with all of our guests, which made our parents feel a bit nervous. They fear that if the animals are too friendly, they could be caught by thieves and sell to dog meat restaurants (in Vietnam and some other East Asian nations, people still consume dog meat).

Alright, let me introduce our “four legs model” today:

This guys! wherever I sit he will come sit around and so friendly, when it comes to “model job” he took it naturally and professionally.

Another shade of this guy, this time he changes his gesture.

Here another buddy, his character is opposite compared to the above-mentioned guy, this long ears gentleman doesn’t enjoy being a model. He has only one shade, the “thinking” one, or maybe sad, or lovesick, or hungry. Only himself knows exactly what’s in his mind.
