The best way to learn new vocabularies as I said is you need to use pictures and connect the word with a context. Continue with our topic about house objects, today welcome you to my living room.
PLEASE TRY TO REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING PICTURE AND POSITION OF OBJECTS SO ONE THING FOR SURE THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORGET.
1 – Pillow: A rectangular thing, made from soft material likes cotton, feathers… used for resting your head in bed.
2 – Cushion: A bag made of wool, leather… is filled with soft material, and is used cover sofa for sitting on.
3 – Sofa: A long soft seat with a back and usually arms, on which more than one person can sit at the same time.
4 – Tea-set (tea pot, cups): A set often combines a plate with a tea pot and cups on it, used for serving tea.
5 – Table/coffee table: Just a type of table is placed in the living room.
6 – Fireplace: A a space in the wall of a room for a fire to burn in to keep warm for the room.
7 – Floor: A flat surface of the room, on which you walk
8 – Bookshelf: A type of furniture, on which you can put your books.
9 – Curtain: A piece of material, especially cloth, which hangs across a window or opening to make a room or part of a room dark or private
